By Belize Live News Staff: Belize City welcomed the Sun Princess, a cruise ship from the Princess Cruises Line, as it made its first-ever port visit on October 29, 2024. The Belize Tourism Board marked the occasion with a commemorative onboard ceremony, where Mr. Lloyd Enriquez, Director of Cruise and Capacity Development, exchanged official plaques with Captain Paolo Arrigo of the Sun Princess.

The arrival of the Sun Princess, carrying an impressive 3,862 passengers, underscores Belize’s growing appeal as a premier cruise destination in the Caribbean. This landmark visit highlights Belize’s commitment to enhancing its cruise tourism sector by offering enriching experiences and supporting the local economy through tourism.
