The gruesome find was made early this morning, with investigators revealing that the victim had been brutally chopped up before the body parts were discarded into the sea.
Authorities suspect that the dismemberment took place at another location and that the remains were later transported to the site where they were found. As part of the investigation, police conducted a search at a local meat shop, looking for evidence that the body may have been cut up there. One person has already been detained for questioning.
