By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A vehicle fire near Sandhill this morning has raised questions about emergency response times.
The truck was seen burning near Mile 16 on the Philip Goldson Highway, with flames tearing through the cargo area.
A person who recorded the scene said the flames were nearly out and that firefighters had not yet arrived.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed, and there is no word yet on whether anyone was hurt or who owns the vehicle.
Motorists travelling through the area are asked to slow down and use caution.
