By Belize Live News Staff: The department of police has issued a statement about an elder American tech savvy hacking Belizean girls facebook account leaking any private explicit content from their messenger account. Police reached out saying this has been going on for years since 2016 when first reports said that at least 6 young girls were threatened to reputation damage even though they don’t know the person.
On one statement the elder person who uses different names, “sean, john” uses a victims stolen facebook photo and sends it to relying new victim saying that he has met the person and that he knows them to draw trust and sends a link where when clicked it automatically logs you out of facebook and changes their password. Police also said back then technology wasn’t advanced as nowadays and they are getting closer to a clear investigation and working alongside the ciber bullying and exploitation from USA to end with this ongoing threat.
Any girl being threatened or whose reputation was damaged is asked to come forward the nearest police station to gather more evidence and seek professional counseling since it is proven that situations like this can be very depressing and self damaging to the victims that were affected.
