Alliance for Democracy pushes for mediation amid party dispute

By Belize Live News Staff: The Alliance for Democracy has announced its efforts to reverse the Central Executive Committee’s decision to expel key members, including Tracy Panton, Patrick Faber, Beverly Williams, and John Saldivar from the party. This decision is seen as essential to resuming mediation talks aimed at resolving the ongoing impasse within the party.

In a press release issued today, the Alliance emphasized the importance of this retraction as a critical step toward re-engaging in dialogue and negotiations. The statement expressed hope that a resolution can still be reached, highlighting the Alliance’s commitment to giving the mediation process a fair chance to succeed.

The Alliance’s actions underscore the broader tensions within the party as it navigates internal conflicts and seeks to unify its members under a common cause. As the situation unfolds, the Alliance has decided to hold off on its next course of action, allowing time for the mediation process to take its course.
