Orange Walk Police investigating daylight home invasion

Police still searching for Pine Ridge home invasion suspects

By Belize Live News Staff: The Orange Walk Police Department has released a report on a disturbing home invasion that occurred yesterday, August 27th, in the village of August Pine Ridge.

According to the police report, three masked men, one brandishing a 9mm firearm, forced their way into a residence around 7:30 in the morning. The terrified occupants were ushered inside while the assailants ransacked their home, making off with $420.00 BZD.

The criminals didn’t stop there. They then targeted a neighboring house in the same yard, stealing an additional $250.00 BZD.

Thankfully, no one was physically injured during the ordeal, and no major property damage was reported. The perpetrators fled the scene in an unidentified grey four-door vehicle.

The Orange Walk Police are actively investigating this crime and are appealing to the public for any information that might assist in identifying and apprehending the suspects.
