Department of Transport expands reach with new Spanish Lookout branch

By Belize Live News Staff: The Department of Transport today celebrated the official opening of its new branch in Spanish Lookout, Cayo District. Located on Iguana Creek Road, the branch is poised to significantly improve transportation services and accessibility for residents and businesses in the region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a number of dignitaries, including Rodwell Ferguson, Minister of Youth, Sports, and Transport; Minister of State Gilroy Usher from the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Transport; Orlando Habet, Minister of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, and community leader Harry Letkenan.

The new branch in Spanish Lookout underscores the government’s commitment to developing infrastructure and enhancing services in rural areas. Customers can now conveniently make payments using their debit cards.

The Department of Transport is confident that this new branch will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the Spanish Lookout community.
