By Belize Live News Staff: After working a gruelling 24 hour shift, a nurse is now hoping someone will do the right thing and return her purse.
The nurse, known as Nurse Can, took a bus from Belmopan to San Ignacio on Saturday morning, shortly after collecting her pay. At some point during the trip, she lost her purse, which held $700, her full pay.
The missing item is a small brown wristlet style purse with a monogram pattern, a brown strap and a gold Coach logo.
Bus passengers travelling on the George Price Highway between Belmopan and San Ignacio on Saturday morning are asked to check their surroundings and belongings, and bus operators are asked to check their vehicles.
If you have found the purse or know where it may be, please return it to the nearest police station or call 671-2381.
