STEM U Foundation offers evening welding qualification sessions for Belizean workers

By Belize Live News Staff: Professional welders and businesses in Belize are being invited to participate in a welding qualification programme designed to assess skills according to American Welding Society standards.

STEM U Foundation announced that its industry welding initiative covers several commonly used welding processes, including Stick, MIG and TIG welding.

Qualification is available in all welding positions and across three material categories: carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

The programme is intended for individual welders seeking to validate their technical abilities, as well as companies interested in assessing the qualifications of their employees.

Individual qualification is priced at BZ$900, with special pricing arrangements available for companies and groups upon request.

Sessions are scheduled on weekdays after 5:00 p.m., allowing employed welders to participate outside regular working hours.

The initiative focuses on helping participants demonstrate welding competencies against established industry standards.

Interested applicants are encouraged to register online or contact STEM U Foundation directly for additional information about the qualification process.

Registration is available at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/JUfvmQnnJs, while inquiries can be made through WhatsApp at +501 611-9616.
