By Belize Live News Staff: Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School may not be to blame for the graffiti at the San Jose Succotz bus stop, but it is cleaning it up anyway.
After clearing its students of responsibility, Alvin L. Young Nazarene High School announced it will take immediate action to clean, repair and restore the defaced bus stop.
Principal Bay Rivas said the school believes in leading by example and teaching young people the value of civic responsibility.
The school described the effort as an opportunity to serve the community and reinforce the importance of caring for shared public spaces.
It also thanked Succotz residents for their continued partnership in keeping the village clean, beautiful and respectful.
The move turns a moment of public criticism into a lesson in community spirit, one that students and residents alike can take pride in.
