By Belize Live News Staff: A family of four is recovering following a highway accident that resulted in a vehicle overturning in the Orange Walk District.
Police say the collision occurred near Noh Mul Chilax Spot when a Ford F150 pickup reportedly entered the highway and struck a Mazda pickup traveling along the roadway.
The force of the impact caused the Mazda to flip multiple times before colliding with another parked vehicle nearby.
The driver, Rodney Herrera, sustained a cut to his arm, while his wife and two children also received minor injuries. One child suffered head wounds, while the other complained of neck and shoulder pain.
All victims were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
