By Belize Live News Staff: A traffic mishap on San Antonio Road on Wednesday evening has left one man with minor injuries following a collision between two motorcycles.
The incident involved 37-year-old Ismael Villanueva and 25-year-old Mark Pineda. Reports indicate the accident was triggered when Villanueva, driving an AKTR motorcycle, attempted a left turn without yielding to Pineda’s oncoming Lifan scooter.
Pineda was issued a medico-legal form for scrapes to his arms and foot. Both vehicles remained at the scene with varying degrees of damage while police conducted their initial processing. Drivers are reminded to exercise caution and yield to oncoming traffic when making turns at major intersections.
