By Belize Live News Staff: Police in Orange Walk are investigating a report of damage to property following a domestic dispute in Trial Farm Village.
According to reports, a woman was at home on Sunday afternoon when her common-law husband arrived and began calling out to her. She told him to leave and return another day to collect his belongings due to his disorderly behavior.
Authorities say the man then became aggressive and damaged sections of the home, including a burglar bar door and door frame. He also allegedly damaged a vehicle parked on the property, targeting the rear-view mirror and windshield.
The total cost of damages is estimated at $380. Police are investigating the matter, and court action has been requested.
