By Belize Live News Staff: A 60-year-old man from San Jose Nuevo Palmar Village has been charged with possession of controlled drugs following a house search conducted on Friday, 13th February 2026.
During the execution of a search warrant, officers discovered 26 small plastic bags containing suspected cannabis buried near the rear of the residence.
The substance weighed 54 grams.
The man was informed of the offence, cautioned, and later formally arrested and charged.
