By Belize Live News Staff: Generally fair weather is expected to dominate Belize today as residents wake up to sunny skies with occasional cloudy spells, according to the National Meteorological Service.
The morning forecast issued at 6:00 a.m. on December 28 indicates that most parts of the country will experience stable conditions, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms developing.
Northern areas may see slightly more activity early this morning, but rainfall is expected to remain limited. Temperatures will climb to around 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast and up to 87 degrees inland, while hill areas will remain cooler with highs near 77 degrees. Overnight lows are forecast to dip to 76 degrees along the coast, 72 inland, and 66 in the hills.
Marine conditions remain favorable, with easterly winds ranging from 5 to 10 knots, light chop on the seas, and waves between two and four feet, making conditions suitable for small craft and fishing activities.
Forecaster Michelle Augustine notes that overall conditions remain calm and seasonally typical for this time of year.
