Two motorcyclists hospitalized after Christmas Eve collision in Dangriga

By  Belize Live News Staff: Dangriga Police are investigating a Christmas Eve traffic accident that left two individuals injured on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. The incident occurred on Ecumenical Drive, specifically in front of the Z-Blocks establishment.

The collision involved two motorcycles: a black 2022 Skygo operated by a 23-year-old female teacher and a red Skygo OPU driven by a 24-year-old male labourer. According to initial reports, both riders were thrown from their vehicles upon impact.

Emergency services transported both victims for medical treatment. The female rider reported hitting her head and sustained abrasions to her leg, prompting doctors to perform a CT scan as a precautionary measure. The male rider was treated for swelling in his hand and various abrasions to his limbs. Police have issued medical legal forms to both parties as the investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
