By Belize Live News Staff: Delty Cordova lost her life Sunday evening following a collision involving two motorcycles in Trial Farm Village. The crash occurred near an unnamed street before Paraiso Bar.
Police report that a 16-year-old male traveling from the Establo roundabout attempted a sudden left turn across the roadway. A male rider on another motorcycle, who had a Delty as passenger, collided with the turning motorcycle.
Delty was thrown to the pavement and died from severe injuries. The male rider suffered abrasions, while the teen rider also received injuries to his leg.
Officers confirmed the male rider has a valid driver’s license. The teen rider does not. Both motorcycles were insured and licensed.
The case remains under investigation.
