Taxi driver says $7,700 chain and $3,000 iPhone missing after night out

By Belize Live News Staff: A Belize City man has reported missing items valued at more than $10,000, including a gold chain and an iPhone, police confirmed today.

The report was made by 61-year-old taxi driver Glenford Alexander Logan of Lawrence Avenue. He told investigators that on Sunday, September 21, he visited his wife’s house on Dickenson Street before returning home. Logan admitted that he had been under the influence when he fell asleep and only realized on Monday morning that his $7,700 gold Cuban link chain and $3,000 iPhone 15 Pro Max were missing.

Police say Logan could not confirm whether the items were lost or stolen. The matter is under investigation, and a formal statement has been recorded.
