By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service reports that relatively moist and unstable conditions will linger across parts of the country today, bringing showers and thunderstorms mainly to the south and coastal regions this morning.

Forecaster Michelle Augustine notes that skies will become partly cloudy by this afternoon with showers decreasing, before cloudier conditions return tonight along with isolated thunderstorms developing late.

Marine conditions remain generally calm, with light and variable winds and seas slight to light chop, producing waves between 1 and 4 feet.

Temperatures today are expected to reach highs of 86°F (30°C) along the coast, 90°F (32°C) inland, and 77°F (25°C) in the hills. Overnight lows will fall to 77°F (25°C) on the coast, 73°F (23°C) inland, and 67°F (19°C) in the hills.

The tropical weather outlook indicates that no cyclone formation is expected in the North Atlantic Basin over the next 48 hours.

Looking ahead, Sunday is forecasted to bring mostly isolated showers, with slightly more activity expected over southern districts.
