By Belize Live News Staff: A man collapsed and died this morning outside the Philip Goldson International Airport (PGIA) shortly after dropping off his family.
According to eyewitnesses, the man was near his red Ford Escape when he suddenly became unresponsive. Emergency assistance was provided, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary information points to a possible heart attack as the cause of death. Officials have not yet confirmed the man’s identity, and no foul play is suspected.
