By Belize Live News Staff: A gentle east to northeasterly airflow continues to influence weather conditions across the country today, Monday, July 21, 2025. The National Meteorological Service forecasts sunny skies with occasional cloudy spells throughout the day and clear to partly cloudy skies by tonight.
This morning, a few showers or isolated thunderstorms are expected over some coastal areas, while inland regions may experience brief showers by midday. Aside from those localized events, weather conditions across Belize are expected to remain mostly fair and dry.
Marine conditions are stable, with light east to northeast winds blowing at 5 to 15 knots. Seas will be slight to light chop, and wave heights are forecast between 1 and 4 feet.
Temperatures will peak at 94°F inland, 88°F along the coast, and 80°F in the hills. Overnight lows are forecast at 72°F inland, 82°F on the coast, and 68°F in hilly areas.
In the Atlantic, a small area of low pressure is being monitored in the central tropical region, but it currently has a low chance of development. No other tropical cyclone formation is expected over the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, the forecast calls for mainly fair conditions during the day with only isolated showers, followed by a few more showers and isolated thunderstorms over southern Belize by nightfall.
