Most of Belize gets rain tonight

Rain

By Belize Live News Staff: After a stretch where the far south took most of the rain, tonight it spreads.

The National Meteorological Service says there is a high chance of a few showers and thunderstorms developing over most areas of the country tonight, with cloudy skies at times.

Through the day it stays sunny with cloudy spells, though northern and central areas could see a few morning showers or isolated thunderstorms.

Temperatures hold at 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 90 on the coast and 83 in the hills.

The water is rougher today. Easterly winds at 10 to 15 knots with choppy seas and waves of 3 to 5 feet.

Thursday returns to generally fair and warm, with a few more showers in the north during the day and over the south at night.

No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.

With Battle of St. George’s Caye Day tomorrow, keep an eye on the sky if you have plans outdoors.

Are you ready for the rain tonight?
