By Belize Live News Staff: Southern Belize is in for another wet stretch while the rest of the country stays largely dry.
The National Meteorological Service says a few early morning showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly the southern districts today, with another round expected late tonight into tomorrow morning.
Everywhere else sees isolated activity at most.
Skies start cloudy with sunny breaks this morning before turning partly cloudy through the afternoon and into the night.
It stays hot. Inland areas reach 96 degrees Fahrenheit, the coast hits 90 and the hills sit at 84.
On the water, conditions are manageable with winds at 5 to 15 knots and waves of 2 to 4 feet.
Saturday looks mostly dry and warm across the country, though the south has a high chance of holding onto showers through the morning.
No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
