By Belize Live News Staff: Even the hills are hot today.
The National Meteorological Service says warm and mostly dry conditions are holding across Belize, with inland areas reaching 96 degrees Fahrenheit, the coast at 90, and the hills climbing to 85, which is warmer than they have been running lately.
Skies stay sunny with a few cloudy spells, and any showers will be isolated. Tonight turns clear to partly cloudy, with the Toledo District the only area likely to see rain.
Out on the water it is calm. Easterly winds at just 5 to 10 knots, slight seas and waves of 1 to 3 feet.
Thursday brings more of the same.
In the tropics, no cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours, which is welcome news heading into the busiest stretch of the season.
Drink water and find some shade this afternoon.
How are you keeping cool today?
