By Belize Live News Staff: The People’s United Party has its Belize City team for March 2027.
Deputy Mayor Eluide Miller carried the mayoral race with 427 votes to Allan Pollard’s 341.
The councillor slate is headed by Kristian “Toxico” Alpuche, who topped the entire field with 564 votes, the highest count of the night. Behind him came Brendan “Beeez” Bouloy at 466 and Kirkland Smith at 465, both newcomers.
Kaya Cattouse, Sherwin “Shillin” Garcia, Edmund “Chiney Bwai” Kwan, Dorian Usher and Stephanne Hamilton all return to the ticket. Simon Noralez and Darwin “Puppy” Leslie complete it as first timers.
Twenty one candidates contested. Nineteen ran for the ten councillor spots.
787 delegates voted at the TVET Compound between 9am and 4pm. One ballot was spoilt.
Party Chairman Hon. Henry Usher read the results to supporters at 9pm and swore the team in.
Next up are endorsement conventions for Orange Walk, San Pedro, Dangriga and Belmopan.
“PUP 67 will be ready for 2027,” the party said.
