By Belize Live News Staff: A Corozal Town man was away handling a family emergency when someone walked into his yard.
His sister was watching the house. She called him at 6:57 on Sunday morning to say the bodega, normally locked, was standing open and things looked wrong.
He pulled up the security footage.
At 3:04am, a slim built man in all black with a hat is in the yard. He moves around taking items and loading them into a black school bag. At one point he is holding a battery charger from inside the bodega in his right hand.
The man got home Monday evening and worked out the full list.
Gone were a Black and Decker 20 volt lithium battery and charger, two Belikin crates of empty pint bottles, a set of Craftsman spanners, and a Stones brand battery charger and starter.
Total value, US$115 and BZ$202.
The footage exists. Somebody watching this will recognise him.
