By Belize Live News Staff: It is going to be a hot one.
The National Meteorological Service says warm and relatively dry conditions are in place across Belize today, with the coast reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit and inland areas hitting 95.
Skies stay sunny with a few cloudy intervals, turning partly cloudy tonight. Showers are isolated, with only a low chance of a few more over southern Toledo after dark.
The hills offer some relief at 82 degrees, dropping to 68 overnight.
Conditions on the water are easy. Light easterly winds at 5 to 15 knots and waves of 2 to 4 feet make it a good day to be out on a boat.
Monday brings more of the same, mainly fair and warm.
No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
Stay hydrated out there today.
How are you beating the heat?
