By Belize Live News Staff: Anyone along the coast should keep an umbrella handy this evening.
The National Meteorological Service says a tropical wave passing through is keeping conditions moist and unstable, with a medium chance of a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over coastal areas tonight and tomorrow.
Southern districts are likely to see more of it. The rest of the country gets isolated activity only.
Skies stay generally cloudy tonight before turning sunny with cloudy spells tomorrow.
Temperatures hold in familiar territory, 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland, 88 on the coast and 80 in the hills.
Water conditions are manageable, with easterly winds at 5 to 15 knots and waves of 2 to 4 feet.
Out in the Atlantic, forecasters are watching a low pressure area west southwest of the Cabo Verde islands with a medium chance of becoming a tropical depression. It is nowhere near us and poses no threat to Belize.
