By Belize Live News Staff: Orange Walk, Belize, April 12, 2026 — A confrontation between neighbours has resulted in one man being detained after a woman was injured during an altercation.
Meryl Chan reported that her neighbour entered her yard acting aggressively before striking her with a stick.
Medical personnel later classified her injury as harm. The accused has been detained and is expected to face charges.
