Two Elderly Residents of Guinea Grass Charged for Drug Offenses

By Belize Live News Staff: Two elderly residents of Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District, have been formally charged following a police search that resulted in the discovery of cannabis.

Seventy-year-old Wenfield Edmond Bull and sixty-six-year-old Gertrude Idoly Alford were jointly charged with Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply to Another after police reportedly found 62.22 grams of cannabis. They were also separately charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug for an additional 39.91 grams of cannabis.

Following their arrest, both individuals are expected to return to the Orange Walk Magistrate’s Court to deal with the charges against them.
