Slightly moist and relatively unstable conditions are influencing the weather across Belize today, bringing sunny skies with cloudy spells and the possibility of scattered showers.
According to the 6:00 a.m. forecast issued on March 6, 2026, a few showers or isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop mainly over central and northern areas of the country during the day.
Forecasters say the rainfall activity will gradually decrease later this evening and become isolated tonight as skies turn partly cloudy.
Marine conditions are expected to be moderate, with east-southeast winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and waves reaching 4 to 6 feet.
Temperatures will reach highs of 82°F (28°C) along the coast, 87°F (31°C) inland, and 78°F (26°C) in the hills.
A Small Craft Caution remains in effect as gusty winds and locally rough seas may occur near heavy showers or thunderstorms.
