By Belize Live News Staff: Belize’s stretch of fair weather is expected to shift slightly tonight as the Belize Met Service forecasts increasing moisture and cloudy conditions moving into midweek.
While Wednesday will remain mostly sunny with minimal rainfall, forecasters say the atmosphere will become more unstable tonight, particularly along the coast where showers are expected to develop.
Looking ahead to Thursday and Thursday night, skies will turn cloudy at times, with a few showers affecting most areas during the day. By Thursday night, rainfall is expected to concentrate mainly over southern parts of the country.
Inland areas will continue to experience warmer temperatures, climbing near 85°F, while coastal areas remain slightly cooler but humid. Mariners are advised to exercise caution as choppy sea conditions persist.
The Belize Met Service advises residents to enjoy the sunshine today but prepare for increasing cloud cover and showers heading into Thursday.
