By Belize Live News Staff: A fatal traffic accident has been reported along the Old Mullins River Road, where a man was found dead at the scene.
According to police, QRT officers responded to the area after receiving information of a road traffic accident. Upon arrival, officers observed a black scooter beside a male individual who had sustained serious facial injuries.
The deceased was identified as Jessy Palacio, 28, a self-employed resident of the Old Mullins River Road area. A trailer parked on the shoulder of the dirt road was also observed near the scene.
Police confirmed that Palacio succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash are ongoing.
