By Belize Live News Staff: Two men from Corozal Town are facing serious drug charges after police uncovered a large quantity of cocaine during a targeted operation on Monday morning.
At around 8:00 a.m., a special operations team executed a search warrant at a residence in Corozal. Present at the location were 37-year-old Camille Bodden and 48-year-old Terrence Lopez.
During the operation, police searched a Nissan Rogue parked at the entrance of the residence. Police say Bodden was in possession of the vehicle’s keys at the time of the search.
The search resulted in the discovery of ten parcels of cocaine, weighing approximately 11.4 kilograms, or 25 pounds. Both men were subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply to Another.
