Belize Government Lotteries Limited has confirmed that one winning ticket from the December 20, 2025 Million Dalla Jackpot draw was not claimed within the required time frame and has therefore been forfeited.
The lottery authority reported that eight of the nine winning tickets were successfully redeemed, accounting for $888,888.88 in total payouts. The remaining $111,111.11 was not presented within the thirty day claim period outlined in the game’s terms and conditions.
As a result, the unclaimed prize reverted to Belize Government Lotteries Limited. While profits from the Million Dalla Jackpot are typically set aside for charitable purposes, the company noted that this year’s sales did not generate a profit. Despite this, the Board of Directors has decided that the forfeited winnings will still be donated to a charitable organization.
The beneficiary of the donation will be selected at the next meeting of the Board of Directors, scheduled for mid February.
Belize Government Lotteries Limited reiterated its commitment to transparency and reminded the public that proceeds from its games help support national programs, including health insurance, sports development, and charitable causes across the country.
