Christmas Day collision leaves 13-year-old in critical condition

By Belize Live News Staff: A teenage boy is fighting for his life following a serious traffic accident in Guinea Grass Village on Christmas evening. At approximately 5:30 p.m., a Lifan 110 scooter operated by the 13-year-old collided with the front left fender of a 2001 Chevy S10 pickup, driven by 24-year-old Nathaniel Narvallez.

According to police, the youth was not wearing a helmet at the time of the impact. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
