Multiple traffic violations lead to charges for two drivers in Ladyville

By Belize Live News Staff: Two drivers have been formally charged by police following separate traffic investigations carried out in Ladyville on December 11.

One driver faces four charges, including driving under the influence above the legal alcohol limit and operating an uninsured and unlicensed vehicle. Police offered bail, which was secured by a relative, allowing the driver to remain free pending his court appearance.

In the second case, police charged a young woman with five offences, including failing to stop and render aid and driving without a valid driver’s license. Bail was granted after a surety signed on her behalf.

Both individuals are expected to answer to the charges when they appear in court on December 17, 2025.
