By Belize Live News Staff: Police in Guinea Grass Village are searching for a woman accused of committing common assault against a 9-year-old girl on Sunday, December 7.
The child reported that while accompanying her father to a nearby shop, an adult woman passed in front of their home, turned toward her, and spat on her. She also allegedly directed an offensive remark at the child in Spanish. The girl stated she felt frightened and humiliated.
After hearing what occurred, the father accompanied his daughter to file a report. Police have recorded statements and are now looking for the woman for the offence of common assault.
