By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating a fatal house fire in San Antonio Village that claimed the life of an elderly resident.
The incident occurred late last night when a wooden home became engulfed in flames. Emergency personnel responded, but the structure was already heavily damaged. Once the fire was brought under control, the body of a 90-year-old woman was found inside the debris.
Investigators from both the police department and the National Fire Service are working to establish what triggered the blaze. The investigation remains ongoing.
