By Belize Live News Staff: The Government of Belize and the Belize Tourism industry are celebrating international recognition once again as renowned DJ and producer Osocity has featured Maya King Waterfalls in his latest Old School Dancehall Mix video, filmed in southern Belize.
In a social media post, Osocity described the project as a “time machine” to the 1990s and early 2000s, paying tribute to the legendary riddims and songs that defined the golden era of Jamaican dancehall music. He shared that the mix was filmed at the scenic Maya King Waterfalls, located near the village of Santa Cruz in the Stann Creek District.
The artist praised Belize’s natural beauty, calling the location a “gem” with lush tropical jungle, cascading waterfalls, and cool natural pools perfect for swimming and relaxation. He encouraged his followers to add Maya King Waterfalls to their travel lists when visiting Belize.
