By Belize Live News Staff: Commuters on the George Price Highway faced temporary delays this morning following a motorcycle accident near Hattieville that left two people injured.
The crash happened shortly after 7:00 a.m. between Miles 13 and 14, prompting an immediate emergency response. Both victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Traffic police cleared the roadway by 7:25 a.m., restoring the flow of vehicles after a brief disruption.
In a public notice, police advised drivers to “use caution due to an RTA on the highway.”
Motorists are reminded to maintain safe speeds and remain alert, especially during the morning rush when visibility and traffic density can increase the risk of accidents.
