By Belize Live News Staff: Police have charged a well-known Belize City man for the gruesome murder of 31-year-old Shaniele Faber, whose mutilated body was found stuffed inside a garbage drum over the weekend.
Authorities confirmed that on Monday, October 6, 2025, a warrant was obtained to formally arrest and charge Goldburne Glenford Adolphus, 55, also known as “Easy Glenn.” Adolphus, a Belizean security guard residing at the corner of George Price Highway and Central American Boulevard, has been charged with murder.
The grim discovery was made around 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 4, when a man searching through trash bins for bottles stumbled upon a blue garbage drum at the corner of Amandala Drive and Cemetery Road. Inside were the partially decomposed remains of a woman later identified as Faber.
Police investigators found that Faber had sustained multiple injuries to the upper body, consistent with a violent attack. She was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m. at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
Investigators believe the murder occurred between October 2nd and October 4th. Following an intensive investigation, Adolphus was detained and subsequently charged.
Police continue to probe the motive and circumstances surrounding Faber’s murder as Adolphus awaits his first appearance in court.
