$27K cash, Glock, and 5 lbs of weed seized in Lord's Bank raid

By Belize Live News Staff: Police have arrested and charged two Belizeans following a massive haul of drugs, an illegal firearm, and a large sum of cash during a search operation in Lord’s Bank Village on Friday, October 3rd.

The bust resulted in the charging of Andre Lewis Belisle, a 27-year-old Belizean office assistant, and Monica Olga Bowden, a 21-year-old Belizean call center agent. The pair was found inside a residence during the police search.

The operation yielded significant evidence, including:

Approximately 4.89 pounds of cannabis (marijuana).

A licensed black Glock pistol.

100 rounds of live ammunition.

$27,000.00 in cash.

Both Belisle and Bowden have been jointly charged with three counts of Drug Trafficking in connection with the seized cannabis.

Police are continuing their investigation into the source and intended use of the large sum of cash and the recovered licensed firearm. Belize Live News will provide updates as the case moves through the court system.
