By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service reports that mainly fair and warm weather conditions will prevail across the country today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells during the day and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers, if any, will be isolated.
Marine conditions are expected to be calm with east winds at 5 to 15 knots, slight seas, and waves of 1 to 3 feet.
Temperatures will be hot inland, reaching highs of 96 °F (36 °C), while coastal areas can expect highs near 90 °F (32 °C). In the hills, temperatures will be more comfortable, peaking at 84 °F (29 °C). Overnight lows will range from 75 °F (24 °C) inland, 84 °F (29 °C) along the coast, and 68 °F (20 °C) in the hills.
The tropical weather outlook remains quiet, with no tropical cyclone formation expected over the North Atlantic Basin during the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead, similar weather conditions are expected to prevail into Wednesday and Wednesday night.
