Fair skies, hot days: No rain in sight for Belize this week

Mild and mostly fair conditions expected today

By Belize Live News Staff: Blazing temperatures and little to no rainfall continue to define Belize’s weather pattern this week, as the country remains under a persistent spell of fair and hot conditions.

With inland temperatures forecasted to climb to 97°F today, the National Meteorological Service has renewed its heat advisory, warning the public about the risks of dehydration and heatstroke.

This weather is part of a broader regional pattern of high-pressure dominance, limiting the formation of any meaningful cloud cover or rainfall.

Coastal temperatures are slightly more forgiving, peaking at 90°F, while the hills are offering some relief with highs around 84°F. Sea conditions remain moderate but choppy, with winds out of the east generating waves between 4 and 6 feet.

Fisherfolk and tour operators are advised to proceed cautiously.

Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy with very little shower activity, mostly limited to isolated areas.

The outlook into Thursday signals more of the same—a hot, dry stretch that is leaving farmers and rural communities particularly vulnerable. With the dry season intensifying, the need for water conservation is becoming more urgent.
