By Belize Live News Staff: The sun continues its reign across Belize today, but don’t be surprised if a few scattered showers sneak in—especially in southern districts. According to the National Meteorological Service, a moderate easterly breeze is helping to maintain dry and sunny conditions for most of the country, though the atmosphere carries enough moisture to trigger isolated rainfall.
Coastal regions can expect highs of 86°F (30°C), while inland areas continue to sizzle near 93°F (33°C). It’s another hot one—especially for farmers and outdoor workers, who are encouraged to stay cool and hydrated.
Marine conditions remain fairly typical for this time of year. Choppy to moderate seas and easterly winds up to 20 knots could create challenging conditions for smaller boats. Mariners are advised to remain alert during the afternoon hours.
The forecast heading into the weekend hints at a slight increase in moisture, with showers becoming a bit more widespread on Friday night, particularly across the north and south.
