Dry skies dominate, but expect a few showers in the north and south

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect mostly sunny skies today as generally fair weather conditions prevail across the country. The National Meteorological Service reports that while the overall forecast is dry, a few isolated showers may pop up, especially in northern Belize this morning and southern areas later today and tonight.

Temperatures will climb once again, with inland highs peaking at 93°F (34°C), while coastal regions hover around 86°F (30°C). Hill stations will experience slightly cooler conditions, staying around 80°F (27°C).

On the water, easterly to northeasterly winds between 10 to 15 knots will stir up moderate seas, with waves ranging from 3 to 6 feet. Mariners are advised to navigate cautiously, particularly during the afternoon hours when winds tend to strengthen.

Looking ahead to Thursday, the weather will remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with only isolated showers expected, except for a few more over the south.

Whether you’re planning a beach day or commuting inland, it’s a good idea to pack water, sunglasses, and maybe an umbrella—just in case.
