By Belize Live News Staff: If you’re out and about today, expect sunshine paired with a few scattered clouds—classic dry season weather across most of Belize. While the forecast doesn’t promise much rain, temperatures will be climbing and winds may pose some challenges for those on the sea.
Today’s daytime highs will soar, with inland areas expected to hit 96°F (36°C). It will also be toasty along the coast, with temperatures around 88°F (31°C). Nighttime offers some relief, dipping to the low 70s and mid-60s across higher elevations.
At sea, it’s not smooth sailing. Winds from the east to southeast will blow at 10 to 20 knots, pushing waves up to 7 feet in some areas. A Small Craft Caution is in place, and mariners are encouraged to exercise extra care.
Tonight into Tuesday, skies remain partly cloudy to cloudy, with only a slight chance of isolated showers, mainly along the coast. The overall pattern remains dry, though conditions may become more humid midweek.
