By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Government Lotteries Ltd. has announced that all live drawings for Boledo, Ordinary Lottery, and Jackpot Lottery will be relocated to Belmopan starting April 27, 2025.
The decision to move the drawings from Belize City to Belmopan is aimed at improving efficiency and reducing the risk of disruptions due to hurricanes and flooding.
Despite the relocation, the lottery’s standard security and fairness protocols will remain unchanged. Drawings will continue to be conducted under the supervision of the Treasury Department and audited by Coye & Associates to ensure transparency.
Live broadcasts of the draws will still air on Love FM, and the public is welcome to attend and witness the process at the new drawing office inside Emporium Plaza, Belmopan.
