Another hot day ahead: Belize experiences intense inland heat and dry conditions

Mild and mostly dry conditions expected today

By Belize Live News Staff: The heatwave continues in Belize, with scorching inland temperatures and minimal chances of rain. The country remains under the influence of fair, warm, and mostly dry weather, keeping outdoor conditions favorable but hot.

Forecasts for March 14, 2025, indicate clear skies with a few cloudy spells, ensuring a bright and sunny day across the nation. Temperatures will soar to 95°F (35°C) inland, while coastal regions will experience highs of 87°F (31°C). Hills and higher elevations will see temperatures around 83°F (28°C), offering some relief from the intense heat.

Light to moderate easterly-southeasterly winds at 10-15 knots will maintain a steady breeze, keeping the sea state at a light chop with waves between 2-4 feet.

As night falls, skies will remain mostly clear, with no significant rainfall expected. The outlook for Saturday suggests a continuation of these warm and dry conditions, allowing Belizeans to enjoy a rain-free start to the weekend.

Residents are encouraged to take heat precautions, especially those spending extended hours outdoors. Farmers and conservationists should monitor water sources, as the dry conditions persist. Meanwhile, tourists and locals can take advantage of the ideal beach weather, with calm waters making for excellent diving, snorkeling, and boating conditions.
